Borderlands 3’s drivable vehicles got a big upgrade from previous titles in the series. Now, there are tons of different wheels and guns to unlock, and it’s possible for players to build vehicles of their own with the help of alternative parts. However, finding these items isn’t as simple as just looting them. There’s another way to get them, and it involves hijacking enemy vehicles.

How To Find Car Parts Borderlands 3

Car parts aren’t found at random like other gear in the game, and they need to be stolen from enemy vehicles before you can add them to your arsenal. Luckily, this isn’t as difficult as it sounds. All you need to do is watch out for enemy cars with new upgrades that you don’t have. Keep an eye out for things like spike wheels and better weapons, and make sure to hit them before they disappear from view. Then, when you see one of these enemy vehicles, make sure to hijack it and bring it back to a Catch-A-Ride station. Once you do that, the station will highlight any digi-struct sections on the vehicle.

The first step in getting these car parts is to visit the Meridian Outskirts on the planet Promethea. From the first fast travel point, head to the area near the dam ramp and look for a set of broken overpasses that have piles of debris under them. Climb up them and you’ll eventually reach the ledge on which you can grab the Technical Sticky Bomb part. Once you have the part, head back to the Catch-A-Ride station and park it on its glowing platform.
